RAW

Am looking very seriously at biting the bullet and upgrading the CPU on the home PC to something dual core to replace the one I’ve been using for over 3 years now that is going flaky on me.  I was trying to do simple views to wedding shots I took in RAW and it was sluggggggggish and very frustrating.

The good news is that Flickr is cool enough to let you upload RAW files and it’ll handle all the conversion for ya.  At least I got one shortcut out of the deal.

The wedding was a complete success, my fears of shooting it poorly were unfounded and I think everyone will be happy.  Let’s hope so, at least.
